The wolves among us

As a christian I live with one of many premises; God loves us, no ifs, ands or buts. Just simply that God loves us, always, infinitely!!! He may be saddened by the things we do or don't do; but he is always pulling for us.
As I read about the Westboro Baptist Church, I started to cringe. There was a photo of an older woman holding a sign that read "God hates you". How can she say in one sentence that she is christian and that he hates gays? That is just not true !! That to me is a wolf in sheep's clothing. They have missed the truth and are blinded by hate. The hate of yesterdays misconceptions, misunderstandings of the way humans live and are created.
We are created in the likeness of God, so therefore we are born with the ability to follow truth, or not. We have the right to choose the path we will take, whether it is the path of self love or recklessness. God gives us that choice to experience life, to experience great joy or sadness.
I also believe that line from the bible that states "if thee hath no sin, ye cast the first stone". We are all human, therefore we make mistakes and we shouldn't act like we are better than anyone else.
I was so thrilled to hear that someone was organizing a human buffer around the funeral. That is God's love surrounding Elizabeth Edward's family, and shielding them from persecution from misguided and lost sheep. Another group is joining the human buffer and hopefully people will see and hopefully will open their minds and hearts and rejoice that Elizabeth has joined God at the table to feast. Alleluia, Alleluia on high, Amen !!! I pray that at least one person will feel the love on this day from heaven above !!!
